Governor Deval Patrick visited the first demo day for education technology accelerator LearnLaunchX, which is now accepting applications for its second class.
Education technology accelerator LearnLaunchX opened applications Tuesday for its second class of startups. The three-month program won’t begin until February but the application deadline is Nov. 22, so don’t procrastinate.
LearnLaunchX will offer seed funding, workspace, access to potential investors and business mentoring to as many as eight young companies. It’s a familiar formula on Boston’s crowded accelerator scene, but LearnLaunchX touts its specialization in edtech as a major draw for businesses looking to break into the industry.
“Education technology startups face a unique set of challenges that require a specialized skillset to grow and succeed,” LearnLaunchX operations director Asad Butt said in a statement. “Our team has leaders who have worked in school systems, have powerful relationships across edtech, and have a track record of bringing edtech products to market.”
