Parexel’s new brand promise to biotechs: ‘Your Journey. Our Mission’

Parexel International Corp., a clinical research organization that helps biotechs to bring their drugs to market, said it has unveiled a new brand promise: “Your Journey. Our Mission.”

That promise is part of an effort to convince biotechnology firms that Waltham-based Parexel is the ideal partner for simplifying and accelerating all aspects of drug product development, the company said in a Wednesday press release.

“In today’s market, biopharmaceutical companies must effectively balance global requirements with regional and local issues, address clinical trial complexity, and seek ways to make the drug development process more efficient,” Parexel chairman and chief executive Josef von Rickenbach said in a statement. “For more than 30 years, our mission has been to help the biopharmaceutical and medical device industries prevent and cure disease. While that mission hasn’t changed, the way we promote our mission is changing. Parexel’s new brand platform clearly defines how we can simplify drug development by applying our unique capabilities to the work we do. This will help clients better understand the full scope of our portfolio, and how individual offerings interrelate.”

In a separate Wednesday press release, the company added that Perceptive Informatics, the Parexel subsidiary that provides the Perceptive MyTrials eClinical platform and other advanced clinical development technology solutions, has been rebranded Parexel Informatics.
