Shares of Kimberly-Clark Corp., which makes Huggies diapers and Kleenex tissues, surged after it raised its annual forecast and posted third-quarter profit that beat analysts’ estimates. The Dallas-based company cited lower commodity costs and higher prices. Net income rose to $582 million, or $1.40 per share, vs. $413 million, or 99 cents, a year ago. Analysts predicted profit of $1.15 per share.
