Stocks rallied, sending indexes to their biggest advance since July, after GDP grew at a 3.5 percent pace in the third quarter. Treasuries dropped and the dollar and yen weakened, while commodities surged. Caterpillar, Alcoa, and American Express jumped. Even crude oil got in on the good news, rising more than $2 a barrel on optimism fuel demand will rise.![]()
