Boston Beer reported third-quarter net revenue of $108.7 million, an increase of $7.6 million, or 8 percent, over the same period last year. Net income for the period was $10.4 million, or 72 cents per diluted share, an increase of $10.7 million, or 74 cents per diluted share, primarily as a result of increased core shipments and better margins. Chairman and founder Jim Koch said, “Our 6 percent depletions growth in the third quarter exceeded our expectations.
