Lower revenue at its oil and gas and power units contributed to Fluor’s 11 percent drop in third-quarter earnings, the Irving, Texas, engineering and construction firm said. The company said it earned $162 million, or 89 cents per share, compared with $182 million, or $1 per share, a year earlier. Despite the dour results, one analyst regards Fluor as “one of the best companies in the energy infrastructure sector.’’![]()
