Shares of the world’s largest video game retailer fell after a report that US sales of game hardware, software, and accessories dropped 10 percent in June compared with a year earlier. The second-straight month of declining sales was due largely to a lackluster slate of new game releases. The NPD Group report said sales of game hardware, including hand-held games, fell 9 percent to $366.6 million.
