McDonald’s said net income rose 15 percent in the second quarter as it continues to woo customers to buy new menu items. The company is offering wireless access, expanding 24-hour locations, and introducing healthier foods like oatmeal and smoothies. McDonald’s net rose 15 percent to $1.4 billion, or $1.35 per share, in the period. Revenue was up 16 percent to $6.9 billion, topping estimates of $6.6 billion.![]()
