The Street climbed out of a big hole Tuesday but fell back in yesterday. Traders, focusing on the bleak economy, dumped stocks, which surged after the Fed said it will keep interest rates ultra-low. But the news was a distraction: The Fed made the pledge because it sees nearly no chance the economy will recover by 2013; as investors focused on that, they sold.![]()
