Vanguard Health Systems Inc. rose 8.6 percent, the most since its June initial public offering of stock to the public. The hospital operator, which is controlled by Blackstone Group LP, has been added to Deutsche Bank AG’s short-term “buy’’ list. Vanguard has facilities in Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, and Texas. Its Bay State hospitals are St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester and MetroWest Medical Center. The company is based in Nashville.
