Bitstream Inc. said second-quarter revenue rose 35 percent, but it posted a net loss. The Marlborough-based company lost $1.25 million, or 12 cents per share, compared with a loss of $685,000 or 7 cents, a year ago. Bitstream, which develops software technology for the graphic art and mobile communications industries, said operating expenses rose to $5.17 million, up from $3.57 million. General and administrative expense rose $1.02 million, including costs associated with the former CEO’s resignation.![]()
