Shares of Renaissance Learning Inc. climbed to their the highest price since July 2010. Renaissance, which makes electronic-learning products and software and is based in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., received an unsolicited bid from Plato Learning Inc. for $15.50 a share. Renaissance’s board continues to recommend a merger with Permira Funds that was announced earlier this month.![]()
