The cable-network operator, which airs “Mad Men’’ and “Breaking Bad’’ among other programs, received a new “buy’’ rating for its stock from Davenport & Co. analysts. New York-based AMC Networks owns and operates AMC, IFC, Sundance Channel, WE tv, and IFC Films.
