Huntington Ingalls Industries Inc., the Navy’s largest builder of surface warships, reported third-quarter profit (excluding some items) of $1.05 a share. That beat the average analyst estimate of 85 cents. Newport News, Va.-based Huntington builds and overhauls ships for the Coast Guard as well as for the Navy.
