Grains futures, livestock prices rise

CHICAGO—Grains futures mostly rose in early trading Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 13.50 cents to $6.7650 a bushel; July corn rose 9 cents to $5.8750 a bushel; July oats were unchanged at $3.05 a bushel; while July soybeans rose 5.25 cents to $13.8125 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose 0.18 cent at $1.1805 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.60 cent to $1.5945 a pound; while June lean hogs rose 0.57 cent to 84.77 cents a pound.
