Seventh in line, Jason Burrell of the South End arrived at 10 a.m. Thursday and recorded the experience of walking into the store at 7:59 a.m. Friday with his soon-outdated iPhone. He said when he is available for the upgrade every other year, he goes for the newest phone and camps out on Boylston Street for the release.

“See you in two years," he told the Apple Store staff as he left the store with his new iPhone 5 to "shower and head to work." Burrell said he is looking forward to having faster Internet connection with LTE speeds, and can't wait to start checking out the panoramic capabilities that come with the new camera.
