Curt Schilling’s 38 Studios goes bankrupt
The video game company of former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling burned through money before it could launch a long-awaited video game and failed. Rhode Island taxpayers are on the hook for $75 million in loan guarantees provided to lure Schilling to their state.
