The openings between the metal rails of the end structures are greater than allowed in the standard and pose a risk of entrapment or asphyxiation hazard. There have been reports of the incident. The product, made in China, was sold at furniture stores in the eastern US between Aug. 2009 to Feb. 2012 for about $250 to $300.
