Fisher-Price recalls Rock ‘N Play infant sleepers
Date: Jan. 8, 2013
Units: About 800,000
Mold can develop between the removable seat cushion and the hard plastic frame of the sleeper, posing a risk of exposure to infants and could lead to respiratory illnesses and other infections. There have been about 600 reports of the incident. Sixteen consumers reported that their infants have been treated for respiratory issues, coughs, and hives after use. The sleepers, made in China, were sold nationwide starting in Sept. 2009 for between $50 and $85.
