Mitsubishi chairman Yorihiko Kojima is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at a Sept. 25 lunch presented by the Boston College’s Chief Executives’ Club of Boston, the club said.
Kojima is expected to discuss about the relationship Boston has with Japan and Mitsubishi, provide an overview of the current political and economic situation in Japan, the relations between his native country and the United States, the contributions of the Mitsubishi Corporation towards those relations, the club said in a media advisory.
Employing almost 60,000 people in 90 countries worldwide, Mitsubishi last year posted nearly $68 billion in revenues. In this country, Mitsubishi may be best known for its automotive business, but it is involved in the energy, food, metals, machinery, chemical, environmental, and industrial finance sectors.
The lunch is set to take place the Boston Harbor Hotel.
