As the Boston Red Sox prepare to take the field against the Tampa Bay Rays in a Friday playoff game, baseball fans who are Comcast TV subscribers will have a chance to relive the glorious past of the Carmine Hose.
As part of its On Demand service, most subscribers in Comcast’s New England footprint can access highlights of the 1975 and 2004 seasons as well as flashbacks from the regular season that just ended.
That option, titled “Magic Numbers,” is content from Red Sox Productions, which features Sox players reflecting on the late-inning comebacks of the 2013 regular season. Content called “25 Guys” has the players discussing how everyone has an important role in the team’s success, Comcast says.
Red Sox On Demand is part of Comcast’s On Demand collection, which features more than 100,000 programs On Demand on TV and online. As with the majority of these offerings, Red Sox On Demand is available at no additional cost.
