The average price for gas in Massachusetts was $3.34 per gallon in the latest weekly AAA survey, down 4 cents from the previous week’s average, AAA Southern New England said Monday.
Massachusetts prices are 13 cents lower than they were a month ago.
The current Massachusetts price is 5 cents lower than the national average of $3.39 a gallon, AAA Southern New England said.
A year ago at this time, the Massachusetts average price was 32 cents higher at $3.66.
In the latest Massachusetts weekly survey, the range in prices was 34 cents, from a low of $3.19 to a high of $3.53.
AAA’s weekly surveys focus on self-serve regular unleaded gas.
