Margulies Perruzzi Architects, a Boston firm also known as MPA, said that it recently completed the redesign and renovation of a Woburn office building to make it more efficient for its medical tenants.
The building at 200 Unicorn Park Drive is half occupied by the Winchester Hospital Outpatient Center. National Development, the Newton company whose property management portfolio includes the Unicorn office park, selected MPA for the assignment.
Among the renovations were new mechanical systems that were specifically designed for medical use, and a stretcher-size elevator was also installed.
Cranshaw Construction was the general contractor on the project, MPA said. AHA Consulting Engineers provided mechanical and electrical consulting services, and Goldstein-Milano provided structural engineering services. Acentech provided acoustical and noise and vibration consulting services.
