It’s beginning to look a lot like a record Christmas, at least judging from the number of travelers heading home for the holidays. Nearly a third of all Americans—94.5 million— are expected to board planes, trains, and mostly automobiles to travel more than 50 miles between Saturday and Jan. 1, according to AAA Southern New England.
