The average price of gas in Massachusetts is $3.34 a gallon in the latest weekly AAA survey, down 3 cents from the previous week’s average, AAA Southern New England said Monday.
Massachusetts prices are 13 cents lower than they were a month ago.
The current Massachusetts prices are 6 cents higher than the current national average of $3.28 a gallon. A year ago at this time, the Massachusetts average price was 25 cents higher at $3.59.
In the current Massachusetts survey, the range in prices is 39 cents, from a low of $3.20 to a high of $3.59.
AAA’s weekly surveys focus on prices for self-serve, regular unleaded gas.
