Sydney Leathers has made her mark on Boston.
The Indiana woman at the center of Anthony Weiner’s sexting scandal was featured on a billboard near Logan International Airport advertising Arrangement Finders, a dating service catering to people looking for “mutually beneficial arrangements.”
“Wanted a Mistress for Christmas? Next Time Use ArrangementFinders.com,” the billboard said.
The voluptuous Leathers appeared next to the text, wearing a red top and holding a gift. A Christmas tree that looked like it was plucked from “A Charlie Brown Christmas” sat on the other side of Leathers’s image.
The billboard display near Logan was the dating service’s second outdoor advertising campaign with Leathers, said AJ Perkins, the company’s marketing director.
“We were looking to target Boston,”he said.
Perkins said the company settled on this area after seeing a spike in traffic on its site from users in the Northeast right after Christmas — typically a dead time for the online dating scene.
“We were seeing a lot of activity in the Northeast, Chicago, New York, and New Jersey,” Perkins said. “We were seeing a lot more signups.”
The Toronto-based company launched its first outdoor advertising campaign with Leathers before Christmas in New York City, and recently started advertising in Dallas, he said.
Arrangement Finders is not a destination for people seeking a serious romance.
Its site features a garter-clad woman with an exposed backside holding champagne flutes and a champagne bottle who is facing a determined-looking man sitting on a chair.
The service is free for women, Perkins said. Men are charged $79 a month or $147 for three months, Perkins said. He added the site has 2.2 million members, including users who do not pay for the site.
The company said it does not screen its users in advance and does not endorse any profiles on its system.
“Always be safe and mindful of what you are doing. Having fun should not expose you to unnecessary risks. Be smart. Remember, everyone you initially meet on this system will be a stranger to you,” the company wrote on its website.
As for Leathers, she replaced former adult entertainment star and Charlie Sheen pal Bree Olson as the face of Arrangement Finders. She said she doesn’t have a profile on the site, but has considered signing up.
The contract that Arrangement Finders had for the billboard ended on Sunday so it’s no longer on display, said a representative for Van Wagner Communications, LLC, which sells space on the board.
Perkins said Arrangement Finders may be back for another round of advertising in Boston. The company is considering another campaign tied to the upcoming baseball season, he said.
Leathers said she has never been to Boston, but she did offer some political advice for new Mayor Martin J. Walsh in a written statement.
“If he ever decides to have a cyber affair with a woman, maybe he should do the things he promised her, so she won’t talk!”
If only Carlos Danger had taken her advice.
