One of the many companies gearing up for the Olympics is Gillette, the Boston-based grooming and razor brand.

Gillette’s US athlete ambassador for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games is Ryan Suter, a defenseman for the Minnesota Wild when not playing Olympic hockey. Suter is the son of Bob Suter, who won a gold medal at the 1980 Olympics.

This recent photo shows the two Suters participating in a Gillette “ceremonial shave and send-off to Sochi.” The photo shoot was to promote Gillette’s new Raising an Olympian short film titled “Keep Your Head Up.” The film seeks to “bring to life the daily lessons all dads teach their children and highlights how Ryan, through failures and successes, learned to always keep his head up and maintain a positive attitude,” Gillette said.
