Radian, a luxury rental tower near the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway and the Chinatown MBTA station in Boston, is about to begin leasing, developers Forest City Boston and Hudson Group North America said.
The 26-story Radian at 120 Kingston St. is made up of 240 apartments, including studios and one- and two-bedroom units. Most of them will rent in the range of $3,000 to $4,000 a month. The building’s first residents should be able to move in sometime in the spring.
“As a developer with a long history of creating dynamic rental communities, Radian gave us the opportunity to build a refined residential tower in the heart of Boston that offers an enhanced lifestyle for residents,” Doug Arsham, vice president of development for Forest City Boston, said in a statement. “Radian also serves as the gateway to the Greenway and is unique for its location within the vibrant neighborhoods of the Leather District, Downtown Crossing, and the Financial District that are drawing more and more residents, new businesses, boutique local retailers, and cool new restaurants.”
Apartments at Radian feature oversized windows, many with sweeping city views, walk-in closets with built-in organizers, and Bosch washer/dryers. Gourmet kitchens are accessorized with stainless-steel appliances and built-in white dishwashers, and Silestone blanco maple countertops, the developers said. Bathrooms include large format grey tile flooring, ceramic shower and tub tiling, illuminated vanity mirrors, and Moen bath fixtures.
In general, the units range in size from 563 to 1,082 square feet, the developers said.
The Radian was designed by Boston-based Elkus Manfredi Architects and executive architect Perkins Eastman.
