Obama Signs Executive Order Raising Minimum Wage

President Barack Obama signed an executive order for a federal minimum wage hike to $10.10 per hour on Wednesday (February 12). "Today I'm issuing an executive order requiring federal contractors to pay their employees a fair wage of at least $10.10 per hour," said President Obama. Obama announced during his State of the Union address last month that he intended to take executive action to raise wages for federal contract workers.
