DivcoWest, a provider of asset, property, and construction management services, said that it has completed the purchase of One Winthrop Square, an office building in Boston’s Downtown Crossing area.
Financial terms of the transaction are not being disclosed.
One Winthrop is a five-story “jewel box” style building constructed in 1873. It has about 114,000 square feet of space, and it is currently 100-percent leased, DivcoWest said.
In its original nineteenth century incarnation, the building housed dry goods merchants. and later it was the Boston office of Hearst Newspapers, the firm said.
