The Boston Globe is looking to sell its Morrissey Boulevard headquarters.

After John Henry purchased the newspaper and its affiliated properties last October, many suspected this move would come eventually. A company-wide memo from Globe CEO Mike Sheehan said the company will retain Colliers International to assist with assigning a value to the property and finding potential buyers.

He also told BBJ the new headquarters would most likely be closer to downtown Boston.
