China's COSCO Ready to Up Bet on Greece

Piraeus, Greece's largest and historically important port—partly managed by Chinese state-owned shipping company COSCO for nearly half a decade. It's been held up by some as a model of efficiency in a period when Greece has grappled with economic crisis. Now COSCO wants to go one step further, bidding for a majority stake in the port's owner, the Piraeus Port Authority.
