The Market Basket saga continued to unfold Friday in two separate settings.

Employees, customers, and supporters of Arthur T. Demoulas, the company’s former CEO whose ouster led to the turmoil facing the company this week, rallied at the Stadium Plaza store in Tewksbury.

Meanwhile, the company’s board is meeting in Boston. The Boston Globe reports the board is expected to discuss Demoulas’s offer, announced earlier this week, to buy the shares of the company he does not already own from rival family shareholders, including his arch-nemesis and cousin, Arthur S. Demoulas. The Globe reported late Thursday that several other companies have also expressed interest, but it’s unclear how the recent turmoil at the chain has affected that interest.
