Need for Speed Drives Toyota's Fuel Cell Investments

Steady profits have given Toyota the confidence to splash out on renewable energy vehicles The world's biggest carmaker will launch by next March in Japan this model running on hydrogen fuel cells with a price tag of 70,000 dollars (USD). And it's getting a little help from Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. He's promised to offer a 20,000-dollar (USD) per renewable vehicle subsidy and to set up hydrogen fuelling stations throughout Japan.
