Workers like flexibility
According to a September 2010 report from the Telework Research Network, what employees of all age groups really want is the flexibility to determine for themselves where, when, and how they work. Baby boomers are nearing the top of their corporate ladders, and 70 percent of them want to keep working, but on their own terms. Generation Xers who watched their parents work hard value freedom, and Generation Y is tech-savvy and eager to communicate virtually.
