Searching for a new way to furnish your home on the cheap? Perhaps you want to avoid making the trek out to a bargain store Ikea.
H&M may be the answer. The discount retailer is going to reopen its Newbury Street location Thursday, featuring expanded options, such as H&M’s only home goods section in New England.
H&M already sells home goods online but shoppers are often reticent to buy goods they have only seen on a website. The reimagined H&M location on Newbury Street now offers them ample opportunity to check out bedspreads, towels, posters, and linens at a store.
Like Ikea, H&M features an extensive collection of childrens decor. We wonder whether the debut of the collection was designed to coincide with back-to-school shopping.
As well as the home collection and traditional clothing lines, the store will also feature lingerie, sportswear, kids, and plus size collections, BostInno reports.
According to The Boston Globe, the store has added 17,000 square feet of space to accommodate those new collections.
