As a follow up to my post yesterday, I received this infographic from DoughMain.com that illustrates some of the key statistics they uncovered from a survey conducted last month to learn more about how kids are interacting with money in their daily lives.
I was surprised to see that only about half of the 2,000 parents surveyed give their kids an allowance. And I would have thought that a higher percentage of kids would have a bank account.
On the flip side, the fact that close to a third of parents are showing their kids how to view balances online gave me some food for thought on how to integrate the use of online tools in my own kids' financial education.
What surprised you?
