Expensive sports tickets

The success of the Red Sox, Celtics, and Patriots has driven up the price of tickets in recent years, putting games out of reach for many fans.

Tickets to the NBA finals started at $659 a piece, and went all the way up to $34,500 for courtside. For the last Red Sox-Yankees game of the 2008 season at Fenway Park , bleacher seats, which usually cost $26, were being sold for $159.
