Spending Smart chat with Jeff Yeager
Writer Jeff Yeager, called the "ultimate cheapskate" by Today show host Matt Lauer, discusses his frugal ways at 1 p.m. on Feb. 5.
In 2004, Yeager reduced his dependence on money enough to retire at age 46 after 24 years as an executive at national nonprofits.
Now he writes and speaks publicly about the power of penny pinching. His philosophies can be found in his book, "The Ultimate Cheapskate's Roadmap to True Riches."
