A: So far as I am aware, there is no "Average Hourly Rate." Some CPAs are sole practitioners, others are part of a larger firm. Staff in a larger firm may be CPAs or may be supervised by CPAs. The rates vary, depending on the knowledge and experience of the person and the overhead of the business operation in which they are involved.
