About Jamie Downey

Downey has been an accountant for more than 14 years. He's a partner at Downey & Co. in Braintree. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a manager in the audit department of accounting firm KPMG.

Downey is a regular contributor to Boston.com's Managing Your Money blog. He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Bentley University. He's also a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
