Deborah Raptopoulos and Vassili Raptopoulos of Brookline usually file for a deferment but decided to make the tax deadline for the first time this year since they owe money.

"We enjoyed being here," Deborah said. "There's a collegiality. It's death and taxes, everyone's got to go through it."
