It was a night of firsts for Brookline residents and plastic surgeons Dr. Portia Chiou and Dr. John Mulliken. It was their first joint tax return and first time filing at the deadline.
"We thought things would be more hectic," Chiou said. "The staff was friendly, helpful, interested in customer service, and well trained for the day."
Chiou and Mulliken spent about half hour in the post office, including waiting in line and mailing their returns.
