The easiest privacy threat to avoid are those pesky tracking cookies that record the Internet sites you visit. According to press accounts, the National Security Agency is wired into Facebook’s servers--including, perhaps, your tracking cookie records.Browser add-ons like Ghostery
will keep them off your desktop machine. Ghostery makes a browser for the iPhone that lets you easily delete such cookies. For Android devices, there’s Self-Destructing Cookies, an add-on for Firefox that trashes tracking cookies automatically.
