I wrote a couple of days about how Google's Android phones are driving a renaissance at Motorola. Well, this didn't keep the Chicago phonemaker from dropping off the list of the world's top 5 cellphone makers. And look who took Motorola's place. It's RIM, the makers of BlackBerry. I think RIM's facing a real challenge against the iPhone and the various Androids. But so far, it's holding its own.
