The Globe gets results
Thursday's article about Google's new privacy policy has inspired Google to make it easier for users of its popular YouTube service. I wrote about Dashboard, a smart Google feature that lets users control the settings for many Google services from a single Web page.
But Dashboard is imperfect; some Google settings can't be accessed from there. For instance, YouTube lets you edit or delete a listing of the videos you've watched, but not by going to Dashboard. Instead, you've had to do it on the YouTube site. Not any more. In response to my article, Google has added this feature to Dashboard. Kudos to Google for moving quickly to make their already good privacy controls a little better.
