BT Media Remote for Apple devices by Satechi

So your smartphone isn’t portable enough for you? So you need a remote control for it? Are you really that lazy?

Not so fast. Ever want to take a photo with yourself in the picture? Or maybe you own a set of speakers with an iPhone dock, and you want to change the song that’s playing from across the room. At such moments, you’d be happy to have Satechi’s new BT Media Remote to help you out.

The remote connects via Bluetooth, and works with a variety of Apple devices, including Macintosh computers and the iPad. Once you’ve hooked up, you can control the audio system and camera from a distance. Click the central button to play your stored music, with other controls to adjust volume or skip to a different tune.

There’s also a camera control button. Launch the Camera app, and this button lets you shoot photos from across the room. You’ll need some sort of mini-tripod to hold your iPhone, but you can’t expect Satechi to do everything for you.
