A California company is offering a new option for turning in your old cell phones. In a video you've got to check out, these ATM-like kiosks let you insert your phone, have it scanned for worth, then pull out some cash.

The video says the kiosk helps wipe memory of the phone. Also, people have to scan an ID and be fingerprinted to use it. Would you use this type of machine?. According to the ecoATM website, there are locations at the CambridgeSide Galleria, the Burlington Mall, and the Mall at Chestnut Hill.
