SUNNYVALE, Calif.—Internet company Yahoo Inc. said Monday it will work with a unit of India's Tata Sons Ltd. to research "cloud computing," a technology that allows computers to work across large pools of shared systems by delivering software and services over the Web.
As part of the deal, Pune, India-based Computational Research Laboratories will make available one of the world's top five supercomputers for the research, Yahoo said.
