Lexmark to provide printers, other products to Air Force
LEXINGTON, Ky.—Printer maker Lexmark International Inc. said Friday it will provide laser printers along with other products and support to the Air Force under a five-year, blanket purchase agreement.
Financial terms were not disclosed, but Lexmark said the contract is expected to reduce the Air Force's total output-related costs by more than $40 million.
Lexmark noted that it will offer the Air Force a set of product security features verified by the National Information Assurance Partnership, including common access card authentication, encryption and hard disk wiping capabilities.![]()
